11-Weeks Intensive Post-Graduate Programme
*OBS: While Covid-19 is present, there will be no in-person auditions in Copenhagen to help minimise travel and risk of infections. Therefore, we accept students based on video audition. We may ask for more material and a phone meeting after receiving your application as well as you are most welcome to ask for a phone meeting if any questions.

The programme is offered in both Winter, Spring and Autumn. Please specify which period you are interested in.
To sign up for audition please fill in the application form (link below). It is only necessary to attend one audition.
We advise you to apply at least 6 weeks before the first day of the programme and preferably 2 months in order to assess application and arrange potential in-person audition. If applying for Autumn programme, it is strongly recommended to apply June latest due to Summer holiday.
If you are non-EU citizen applying for the 11-Weeks Post-Graduate Programme, you have the option of an alternative audition by video without in-person audition. Please send your request to firstname.lastname@example.org.
At least 3 years of professional dance education is required. The Post-Graduate Programme is aimed at creative and strong dancers who possess the drive, motivation and responsibility to take charge of the development of their careers. To apply for the programme please fill in and send the application form found at the bottom of this page. Please remember to attach graduation diploma. If you have not graduated by the audition day, please attach confirmation of enrollment from your school stating expected date of graduation.

For applicants applying for in-person audition:
Please fill in the application form below, and attach a video link with excerpts of:
– A presentation of yourself including your goals for your further dance career and how you want to achieve the goals through the 11-Weeks Post-Graduate Programme at CCDS
– 3-5 minutes excerpt of contemporary class
– 3-5 minutes excerpt of classical ballet
– 2 minutes of improvisation
– 1 minute solo
You will receive an answer if you have been invited to do audition. The audition lasts for one day and consists of contemporary dance or ballet, solo and interview. Each applicant must prepare a solo without music. For the interview please prepare a presentation of where you are in your dance career right now and where you wish to go from here.
For non-EU applicants for video audition (also the procedure for online audition during Covid 19):
Please fill in the application form below, crossing off alternative audition, and attach a video link with excerpts of:
– A presentation of yourself including your goals for your further dance career and how you want to achieve the goals through the 11-Weeks Post-Graduate programme at CCDS
– 2 minutes solo
– 5 minutes excerpt of ballet including work at the ballet barre and centre work and covering both Adagio and Allegro
– 5 minutes excerpt of contemporary including floorwork
– 3 minutes improvisation focusing on articulation and phrasing
CCDS will assess your material. You may be asked for additional material and phone interview.
Applicants will be notified of their admission or non-admission to the course shortly after the audition and latest two weeks after.
Should you be invited to join the programme, please accept your place by paying the first instalment of the course fee within 2 weeks.

Your place at the audition is secured once you have paid the audition fee and applies to both audition types. The audition fee is non-refundable.
