Applications for the Diploma Programme 2024-27 will open in November.
To audition for CCDS you can choose between live audition (2a) or online audition (2b).

An unquestionable dedication to develop into dancers who wish to exceed and expand the international level and capability of contemporary dance. Sound technical versatility, a great personal drive, an open mind and a positive approach to possibilities and challenges are essential. Profound basic experience in contemporary dance and ballet alongside extremely high ambition and an exceptional talent for movement is required. It is emphasized that candidates has a strong appetite for developing their artistic reflection and body potential through working at a high physical level throughout the day.
To audition for the 3-year Diploma Programme is to audition for becoming part of an international ambitious team for 3 years. All students are expected to contribute to a great team spirit and support each other in developing their potential and skills to the fullest; through daily training, personal coaching and through performance periods.
Candidates between 17 and 26 years of age may apply. Dispensation can be given in special cases.

You are requested to wear tight fitting clothes in ballet, contemporary and improvisation.

Step 1: Fill in the application form via the link below.
Step 2a – Live audition: Leave the box with link to online video blank in the application form. Please write to email@example.com to organize your live audition date in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Step 2b – Online audition: Please provide a link to your online audition material uploaded on a video platform (please do not send files for download). The video should contain the following:
• Personal Presentation.
Presentation of yourself and motivation of why you wish to study at CCDS.
Where are you in your dance career right now and what are your short and long term goals?
What are your strong personal qualities?
How do your describe your working mentality and cooperational skills?
• 5 minutes excerpt of classical ballet with barre and centre work incl. turns, small and big jumps. If you have a classical variation, you are welcome to include this as well.
• 5 minutes excerpt of contemporary. Please include floorwork.
• 2 minutes of improvisation. Please include a focus on full body articulation.
• 1 minute solo.
The video can be filmed with your smartphone in a dance studio as well as your living room or outdoor etc.. The important thing is that we can see you clearly.
Step 3: Applicants will be notified of their admission or non-admission to the course shortly after the audition and latest three weeks after.
Should you be accepted to join the programme, please accept your place by paying the first instalment of the course fee within 2 weeks.
